Every course below follows the syllabus notified by the DGT and leads to the National Trade Certificate awarded by NCVT on passing the All India Trade Test.

Precision fitting, assembly, alignment and maintenance of mechanical components, machines and pipelines in engineering industry.

Assembly, testing, servicing and repair of electronic circuits, consumer electronics, instrumentation and communication equipment.

Diagnosis, servicing, overhauling and repair of light and heavy motor vehicles, including modern engine management systems.

Manual and semi-automatic welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to industrial quality and safety standards.

Pattern making, cutting, stitching and finishing of garments for women, men and children, with an emphasis on self-employment.

Each CTS course combines Trade Practical (the largest share of contact hours), Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Engineering Drawing and Employability Skills. Two-year trades are examined at the end of each year; the National Trade Certificate is awarded on passing the All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT.
